Mrs. Almond lived 100 wonderful years of life. Today Granny is smiling from Heaven and so very proud of her granddaughter, Frances Ann, for caring for her these past 10 or so years. She cared for her Granny physically and emotionally and every morning took Granny McDonald's biscuit, sausage and coffee for breakfast.

For the past year, Granny lived at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home and our family would like to thank the staff for the exceptional care given to her, especially the member of the team named Pooh. Pooh went above and beyond and cared for Granny as she would have her own family member. Also thanks to Ms. Donna, her hospice nurse.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Free, Adam, Garrett, Morgan and Marshall Johnston. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy, Buddy and Jerry Compton.
