Anna Jane White later visited SC to see relatives and eventually married Peter Samuel Bacot, who had been raised by her aunt Mary Hart Brockinton. They had 6 children and she died in 1847 from the sixth child, a son named Anna Jane White Bacot in her honor.
Peter Samuel and Anna Jane White Bacot both supposedly died at Roseville Plantation and are buried in a family plot there, but the specific location and condition is unknown. At that time it was in Darlington County, but became part of Florence County in 1890.
