Ruth Marie Miller, 86, of Mansfield died Monday afternoon, April 7, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a brief illness. Ruth was born November 22, 1916 in Mansfield to the late Ira and Alma Amsbaugh Zimmerman.
She was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. Ruth was a member of First Christian Church. Ruth enjoyed needlework, crocheting and enjoyed playing the piano.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Miller of Mansfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert, Jr. and Vickie Miller of Fredericktown, Ohio; three grandchildren, Brandi McCoy of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, John Miller and Jeff and Angie Miller, both of Mansfield; two great-grandchildren, Randall Miller and Justin Miller, both of Mansfield; a sister-in-law, Betty Miller of Mansfield; special friends, Phyllis Schwab and Beverly Graham of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert F. Miller, Sr. in October 2001; brother, Paul Zimmerman; and sister, Maxine Adams.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services that will be held Thursday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Paul Larson. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
