Robert "Bob" G. Lull & L. Kathleen Lull

Robert "Bob" G. Lull went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2010. He was born
February 21, 1926, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Medford, Ore., to Lucius W. and Helen Lull.
He graduated from Central Point High School. During World War II, he was drafted out of high school and served in the Navy Seabees stationed in Guam. He drove an ammunition truck.
His sister, Phoebe, introduced him to the love of his life, L. Kathleen Pleyer, and they were married June 17, 1949. They owned and operated "Bob" Lull Granite Co. He was well known for his knowledge of the appropriate type of rock needed for every type of situation. He was also well known for his honesty, generosity and hard working, caring spirit.
Family was very important to him, and he loved doing anything with his grandchildren. He had quite a sense of humor and was noted for his jokes. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening and was a 4H supporter. He attended Community Bible Church.
L. Kathleen Lull joined her husband in her Heavenly Father's arms on February 19, 2011. She was born June 18, 1930, in Hamden, Mo., to James F. and Hazel H. Pleyer. The family
relocated to Oregon in 1936.
She graduated from Central Point High School and packed pears at Harry & David as a young lady. After their marriage, she co-owned and served as secretary for "Bob" Lull Granite Co. She was well known for her cake decorating. Her triple string work was her signature. Her cakes were not only lovely, but tasted good! She loved crocheting. sewing, piano playing and singing. She was a 4H leader for years.
She supported her grandchildren in whatever they were involved. Her generosity was always in motion, including making Easter baskets for the neighborhood children, donating clothes to the Nazarene Church, and making hand-dipped chocolates and homemade soaps for neighbors, friends and family.
"Bob" and Kathleen are survived by their daughter, LaDonna Adams; grandchildren, Joshua, Micah and Amanda Adams; "Bob's" sisters, Louise Lull and Mary MacDonald; Kathleen's sister, P. Evelyn Cole; Bob's brother, Wilbert Lull; Kathleen's brothers, J. Everett and Homer Pleyer; and many nieces and nephews. They were preceded in death by their parents; son, Royce Lull; brother, Lucius E. Lull; and sisters, Phoebe Lull, Pat Oberg, Dorothy Henagin and
B. Eleanor Hayes.
A memorial service for Kathleen will be held February 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at Community Bible Church, 500 N. 10th, Central Point. Pastor Pete Slusher will be officiating. "Bob's" memorial service was held on January 3, 2011. Mr. and Mrs. Lull have their internment at Memory
Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Bible Church.
