LAWRENCE, EMMA R. (1866~1929) Emma R. Lawrence was born on March 3, 1866, in South Carolina. She was the daughter of John James Stroman and Ann Elizabeth Gramling.

She married Confederate veteran W. A. Lawrence on May 26, 1881 in Hallettsville, Lavaca County, Texas. W.A. Lawrence died March 30, 1931 and was buried at the Texas State Cemetery.

Emma Lawrence died at the Confederate Home in Austin, Texas on April 30, 1929 and was buried at the Cemetery shortly after.
