Wilma McIntyre Pigott, age, 96, Wilma went to her heavenly home on November 28, 2014. She liked to sew, crochet and watch squirrels and birds play. She was an avid camper which she would take her sons out on camping trips with cub scouts. She was married to the late Lucien Pigott, who was a childhood friend and later married in 1941 and started a beautiful family.
Wilma is survived by her three sons, Phil and wife Lucy Pigott, Gary and wife Jill Pigott, Jerry and wife Kathy Pigott; grandchildren, Brian and Derek Pigott, Phillip, Haleigh, Nickolas and Gregory Pigott; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Kaleigh and Mia Pigott.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lucien Pigott, brothers, William and Wilton McIntyre.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on December 1, 2014 with visiting beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the religious service at 11: 00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery.
