GRANITEVILLE, SC – Mrs. Donaleen M. Price Gardner, 86, of Graniteville, wife of the late Ralph Gardner, went to be with her lord Saturday July 14, 2012 at University Hospital. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Bath, S.C. with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gardner was born in Cherokee County, S.C. and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was retired from Graniteville Co. and in her later years worked at the Chicken Snack in Graniteville. Survivors include 2 Sons- Roger D. Gardner, Ralph (Hamp) Gardner; 3 Daughters- Katie L. Hallman, Norma J. Gardner, Lucy G. Powell; 3 Brothers- Ralph Price, William Price, Joseph Price; 1 Sister- Dorothy Price; 15 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, P.O. Box 1178 Greenwood, S.C. 29648-1178. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home and after the service at the church.
