Woodrow Wilson “Woody” Anderson, Jr. 61, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.
He was born on December 26, 1952 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Woodrow Wilson and Hazel (Bruce) Anderson.

He attended the University of Arkansas and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and then transferred to the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. He went to work at Sparks Regional Medical Center and left as the IV Room Supervisor. Woody had a strong sense of entrepreneurship and throughout the years had several businesses and ventures. He was most proud of opening Anderson’s Discount Pharmacy in 1987. He was generous of his time and talents to anyone who was in need.

He was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Tess and two sisters, Virginia Richards and Peggy Lewis.

The family will be having a visitation to honor Woody from 10AM till noon on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife Delana of the home, two daughters, Amy Gibbons and her husband Greg and Cheyenne Anderson both of Fort Smith, AR; two sons, Woodrow Anderson III and his wife Francesca of Naperville, IL and Dax Anderson of Fort Smith, AR; one step son, Carter Brashears of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Judy Dees of Bentonville, AR and Vicki Anderson of Reno, NV and eight grandchildren, Gemma, Gunnar and Graham Gibbons, Woodrow, Isaiah and Matteo Anderson and Seth and Trevor Anderson.
