Last rites for John William Turner, age 82, of Choccolocco, Rt 1, were conducted Sunday afternoon at Pleasant Ridge Church by the Rev. J. A. Duke. Internment was in the church cemetery, with Jones directing.
Mr. Turner died Saturday morning after a week's illness. He was a deacon at the Pleasant Ridge Church and had lived his entire life in the Choccolocco section.
