WATERLOO - EDITH MAE MILLER, 71, died Sunday at 10:50 p.m. in her home on County Road 39. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Waterloo, its rosary altar society and the St. Rose of Lima Study Club. She was also a member of the Waterloo Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and the Hobby Club and Shuffleboard Club in Zephyrhills, Fla.

She was born April 29, 1927, in Garrett to the late Arthur H. and Sarah A. (Foster) Woodcock. She married Ambrose Miller on Feb. 12, 1947, in Garrett, and he survives.

Also surviving are four sons, James A. and Max A., both of Waterloo, David J. of Summerville, S.C., and Richard L. of Fort Wayne; one daughter, Anita M. Senesac of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Roger G. Woodcock of Corunna and Ralph A. Woodcock of Santa Barbara, Calif.; three sisters, Margaret Truman of California, Patricia Sutton of Fort Wayne and Florence Bernot of Fremont; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Stanley A.; two brothers, Alfred and Arthur Woodcock; and one sister, Charlotte Shutt.

Friends may call Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. in Feller Funeral Home, Waterloo. A wake service will be conducted Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Her funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church, with Father David Carkenord officiating. Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery.
