He was born in Elgin, Kentucky. He was a sawyer, a farmer, and a retired employee of Vaught Brothers Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Woodstock Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, song leader, and training union director.
He was survived by his wife, Dovie (Pennington) Albright (married April 16, 1938 at Bandy); his son, Kyle (and Carol) Albright of Somerset, Kentucky; his brothers, Victor Albright, Reno Albright, and Donnie Albright, all of Woodstock, Kentucky; his sisters, Irene Brown, Agnes Blankenship and Nellie Albright, all of Woodstock, Kentucky, and Madge Eaton of Good Hope, Pulaski County, Kentucky; his grandchildren, David Albright of Somerset, Kentucky, Jami Albright of Somerset, Kentucky, Jodi Albright of London, Kentucky and Chris Albright with the U.S. Navy at Virginia Beach, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Albright and Sarah Ann (Gill) Albright; his brothers, Clifford Albright, Dewey Albright, and Clayton Albright; and his sister, Jeanetta Albright.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Reverend John McPheron officiating.
