Grace E. Barber, 98, formerly of 2113 N. East St. died Monday, July 20, 1992, at Riverview Health Care Center in East Peoria.
Born March 14, 1894, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Grant A. and Harriett F. Daniels Thompson, she married William F. Bachmann on Aug. 18, 1919, in Chicago. He died Aug. 31, 1964, in Peoria. She later married Thomas R. Barber on May 28, 1983, in Peoria. He died Jan. 13, 1990, in Peoria. One daughter, Joan F. Bachmann, two sisters and one stepsister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two stepsons, Victor H. Barber and Gerald Jacobs, both of Peoria; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Aaron (Betty) Wallace of Yates City.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
