Ida Elmyra Arnett-King was born May 14, 1871, and died February 3, 1946, at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 20 days. She was united in marriage to William Richard King on January 26, 1890. To this union was born four sons and four daughters. Three sons and a daughter preceded her in death. One son, Andrew Dalton King and three daughters, Flora Rachel King-Wells, Opal Louise King-Jones and Ida Belle King-Sullivan survive her. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, the four children, 32 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. She was converted and united with the General Baptist Church at the age of 13 years. We know that she is at rest. From the work, toil and sorrow, but we will
meet her again in that bright happy tomorrow. Peace be with her.

Ida's Husband William Richard King and their children; Daughters Virginia L, and Minnie A. King, Ida Belle King-Sullivan, Benjamin Frank & William T. King are buried here at Liberty/Polk Cemetery.

Ida was my Great Grandmother.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled, so many years ago . spreads out among the ones you left, who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved. I wonder if you knew. That someday I would find this spot, and come and visit you. Author unknown
