Marlis Joy Lindquist, 73, Bemidji, MN, died Wednesday, Nov 19, 2014 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. Marlis was born Nov 10, 1941 in Superior, the daughter of Freeman and Elma (Koski) Andlerson. She was raised and educated in Superior, graduating from Central High School in 1959. She then lived in the Twin Cities area where she had worked as a nurses aide.

She married Arlen Lindquist on Feb 14, 1984 at the Little Brown Church lin Nashua, IA. She enjoyed working as a bookkeeper for her husbands trucking business for many years. She and Arlen were Park Hosts for Beltrami Countys Rognlien Park in Wilton for the last five years. She liked to RV travel and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Sshe loved her family land enjoyed every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sshe was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Jeffery Nelson.

She is survived by her husband, Arlen Lindquist of bemidji; her daughters, Christine Smith, Charlotte Stolzman, Cathrine Salfisberg and Sarah Lindquist; sons, Duane Lindquist and Keith Lindquist; daughter-in-law, Julie Nelson; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her twin sister, Marlene Hageman

Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Superior.
