She was born to William Arthur Earp and Norma Ann Cole Earp. She graduated with honors and was Salutatorian for the class of 1952 at Capitol Hill High School. Was a student at Texas Women's College and Oklahoma State University on academic scholarships.
She met her future husband on cab ride while she was at Oklahoma State, and they were married in 1957.
The family moved many times from Central American to Morocco but returned to by 1972 to raise her children in Oklahoma. She worked for 27 years at Tinker Air Force Base, retiring in 2007.
She was treated for breast cancer in at Mayo clinic in Scottsdale AZ and then spent eight years in the Pacific Northwest before moving to Rapid City SD to be near family that lived there.
She is survived by twp daughters, a son and nine grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother William Joe Earp in Oklahoma.
A Celebration of her life will be held this summer.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Hospice House of Rapid City.
