SACKETT, Ruth Evelyn-- November 26, 1923 - December 19, 2001. A native of Cavalier, North Dakota, died December 19, 2001, aged 78 years. Ruth was raised in Los Gatos and was a longtime resident of Danville, making San Ramon her last residence. She dearly loved animals, writing letters, and staying on top of current events. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving family, children, John and Patricia Sackett of Pacifica, and Linda and Paul Campbell of San Ramon, sisters, Catherine Wimberly of San Diego, and Irene Hickox of Saratoga, and brother, Charles and Betty Stump of Los Gatos. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Patricia Campbell of San Ramon, and Jay & Karen Campbell of Vacaville, great-grandchild, Kiara and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Sackett in 1994, and parents, The Rev. Benjamin F. and Mabel Stump.
