Celia Matilda Brown 87, passed away Nov. 11 in Prineville. A memorial service was held at the Eagles Club in Prineville on Nov. 19 at 1 p.m.
Celia was born Aug. 9, 1927 in Boise, Idaho. She attended Crook County High School, and worked as a bartender at various establishments in Prineville; owned and operated Brown’s Furnace and Sheet Metal in Prineville, and also was a driver for the Department of Human Resources.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, doll-making, fishing, hunting, and camping.
Celia is survived by her life companion, Conrad Edgerly; two sons, James and John Brown; three grandsons, Josh, Jared, and Jason Brown; one granddaughter Rachel Brown and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph and Myrtle Ann Dyer.
