"The marriage of Mr. Emory Girdler and Mrs. Minnie Johnson in the county court room yesterday was an interesting event to the many friends of the prominent couple. Justice William Wilson, an old friend of the contracting parties, performed the ceremony in the presence of a large assembly of neighbors and friends who packed the court room. The groom is a prominent and prosperous farmer residing in the Pleasant Hill community, and the bride formerly lived at Burnside. They have the best wishes of a host of friends."
