Mrs. Bernice Chance Daniel, age 60, of 281 Magnolia Ave. passed away Tuesday Morning in a local hospital after an illness of several days.
She was the widow of the late Mr. Albert Daniel and the daughter of the late Mr. Harvey Chance and Mrs. Ella Spivey
Chance of Macon. She was a native of Candler County but had lived in Milledgeville most of her adult life.
Mrs. Daniel was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joann Allen and Miss Jane Daniel both of Milledgeville; five sons, Mr. Roger Daniel of Atlanta, Mr. Benny Daniel, Mr. Bobby Daniel and M. Ronnie Daniel all of Milledgeville and Mr. Gerald Daniel of Ivey Ga.; five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Resau of Macon, Mrs. Bonnie McDade of Milledgeville, Mrs. Janelle Williams of Savannah, Mrs. Eva Harrington of Dublin and Mrs. Grace Beall of Fairburn, Ohio, 11 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday Morning at 11 o'clock in the Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Luke Moncrief and the Rev. Worth Huckabee officiating.
Interment will follow in West View Cemetery.
The body will be at Williams Funeral until 10 o'clock Thursday morning and then it will be moved to the church to lie in state until time for the service. Friends may visit the family at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Benny Daniel at 1802 Vinson Highway.
