OBITUARY.

Martha A. Peters, daughter of William and Sarah Peters was born in St. Joseph township, May 21, 1836, died in her home in Urbana, June 15, 1905, aged 69 years and 24 days. She was one of a family of 13 children, all of whom have preceded her to that other shore excepting two brothers and one sister, J. L., and J. M. Peters and Mrs. A Thompson. Mrs. Strong united with the Christian church about 30 years ago and has lived in close communion with her Master ever since. She was married to A. W. Strong August 18, 1853 and they lived on a farm in this township until fourteen years ago when they moved to Urbana, their present home. She was a lady highly esteemed and beloved by all.

FUNERAL.

The funeral will occur today at the family home in Urbana at 10 o'clock a.m., and the interment will take place at Mt. Olive cemetery, Mayview.
