Dorothy "Dottie" M. Jagemann, age 79, of 3108 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc, died Sunday, March 17, 2002 at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday March 20, 2002 at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate.
Dorothy was born April 28, 1922 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Stanley C. and Louise Halden Wilson. She married Joseph M. Jagemann Aug. 28, 1948 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc, and business and Professional women Sorority (ESA). Dorothy owned and operated Dottie's Wise Buys for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include her eight children: JoAnn and Glen Perronne, Valders; Jean and Mark Powell, Broomfield, Colo.; Jim and Kathy Jagemann, Manitowoc; June and Mike Brefczynski, Oshkosh; Jack Jegemann, Manitowoc; Jill and Sam Stein, Boulder, Colo.; Judy and Harry Jr. "Butch" Bessert, Reedsville; Jessie and Mike Reigh, Omro; 17 grandchildren: Matthew, Sarah, Lindsay, Philip, Kristie ?Lalo,? Michael, Rachael, Missy, Nikky, Tyler, Jared, Caylee, Sophia, Jason, Jeremy, Courtney, Cassie; two great grandchildren: Raul, Selena; and one sister: Ellie Champagne, Vancouver, Wash.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; and one son, Joe Mike Jagemann.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Mausoleum.
The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
