John W. Eaton, 77, formerly of Memphis, retired salesman for Williams Shade & Awning Co. in Memphis, died Feb. 16, 2003 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church, where he was a member. Heath Funeral Home has charge.

He was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Eaton, the widower of Betty L. Eaton and husband of Mary Jo McClure Eaton, also leaves a daughter, Dottie Eaton of Southaven, Miss.; two sons, John Wayne Eaton of Keno, Ore., and Paul W. Eaton of Paragould, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
