ROSEVILLE- Services will be held today at 1:30 P.M. in Lambert Funeral Home for John S. Adams, 86 a native of England, who died Friday in Auburn.
A retired coal miner, Adams lived at 228 King Road, Roseville. He was a member of Commercial Lodge.
Independent Order of Odd Fellows #128 and Rebekah Lodge, both of Perry, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Etta Adams of Roseville, two sons, John Adams of Roseville, and Charles Adams of Buffalo, N.Y. a daughter, Mrs. May Adey of Roseville,
four sisters, Mrs. Susan Lichtenheld and Elsie Adey of Minneapolis, Minn. Mrs. Fannie Graham of Colfax, Iowa; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Buriel will be made in Roseville IOOF Cemetery, conducted by the local Odd Fellows Lodge.

John S. Adams: Rites Are Held Here Monday
Final rites for John S. Adams, retired coal, miner, were conducted Monday at the Lambert Funeral home and at the grave, with the Odd Fellows lodge officiating.
Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Adams, a native of England, died June 23 in Auburn at the age of 86 years. His home was at 228 King Road, Roseville.
He was a member of Commercial Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the Rebekah Lodge, of Perry, Iowa.
His is survived by his widow, ETTA ADAMS of Roseville; two sons, John Adams of Roseville and Charley Adams of Buffalo, New York and a daughter, Mrs. May Adey, Roseville.
Four sisters, Mrs. Susan Lichtenheld of Minneapolis, Elsie Adey also of Minneapolis: Mrs. Annie Sugget of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and Mrs. Fannie Graham of Colfax, Iowa also survive.
