"MRS. JOHN R. LEE

Mrs. John R. Lee, aged 73, who has made her home in West Monroe a greater part of the time for the past several years, died at the home of her daughter in Greenville, Miss., Wednesday, June 29. Interment was in the cemetery at Lumberton, Miss., the old Lee home.

Mrs. Lee was in seemingly good health up to the time of her last illness, suffering an attack of acute indigestion, and death following immediately.

Seven of her children reside in West Monroe: L. M. Lee, O. D. Lee, Clifton Lee, Mesdames George Fillingame, R. E. Esteppe, W. J. Stockstill and Rilla Ladner, all of whom attended the service in the Mississippi city last Thursday.

Mrs. Lee was an ardent member of the Baptist church and the denomination feels a great loss in her death."
