Knightdale - Lottie Parrish Flowers, 82, formerly of Raleigh, died with dignity on Tuesday, June 9, 1998 at Wellington Nursing Center after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease.


Mrs. Flowers retired from N. C. State Government in the Revenue Department and also taught English in Johnston and Wake County. She was also Secretary for WETC Radio Station for many years.


Funeral service 4 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 1998 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel. Burial, New Knightdale Baptist Church cemetery.


Surviving: sister, Edna P. Lindsey and her husband, Hal of Raleigh; brothers, Lewis V. Parrish of Knightdale, John Bruce Parrish and his wife, Dot of Knightdale, Joseph Paul Parrish of Spartanburg; several nieces and nephews.


Family will receive relatives and friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 1998 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home of John Bruce and Dot Parrish, 03 Park Avenue, Knightdale, NC 27545 and also the home of Hal and Edna Lindsey, 215 Lord Berkley Road, Raleigh, NC 27610.


Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
