Fred Wright, 78, passed away at 8:16 am on November 20, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Fred was born on August 26, 1936 in Vincennes the son of James and Ardella (Eisenhut) Wright.

Fred was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, VFW, Harmony Society, Moose and Masonic Lodge. He collected old cars and trucks and enjoyed restoring them. He has hundreds of trophies from where he showed his old cars and trucks. Fred was a NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan.

Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Galvin and her husband Matt of Texas, son, Chuck Wright of Vincennes, daughter, Pam Carter of Vincennes, son, James Wright and his wife Stacee of Vincennes, daughter, Susan McClure and her husband Patrick of Vincennes; sisters, Delores Burke and her husband Jim of Vincennes, Linda Hendrixson of Vincennes, Debbie Goldman and her husband Larry of Deltona, FL, Pat Tracy and her husband Alvin of Seymour; brother, Bob Wright and his wife Esther of Princeton, thirteen Grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Beulah Powell and Ruby Wright and one brother, Steve Wright.

Funeral services for Fred will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Pastor Garret Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Fred’s family on Monday, November 24 from 4-8 pm.
