She died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at her home.
Cardoza was born Oct. 15, 1945, in Eureka to Gara and Joseph Cardoza. She was raised and educated in Willows.
She worked at Notre Dame School in Marysville, and for the past 12 years served as the secretary at Notre Dame School in Chico.
She enjoyed cooking and baking and was an excellent organizer, which aided her greatly in her career. She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
S he is survived by two sons, Trent Glassgow of Grass Valley and Joe Glassgow of Marysville, two brothers, Gene Cardoza of Corning and Frank Cardoza of Willows, two sisters, Evelyn Daly of Willows and Judy Baptiste of Naples, Italy, her mother, Gara Cardoza of Willows, her grandmother, Willamina Luis of Willows, and three granddaughters.
A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Monday, July 31 at Our Divine Savior Catholic Church.
Private burial will be in Willows Cemetery, next to her father.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in care of Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home, which is handling the arrangements.
