Larry D. Zeeryp, 66, of Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his home.

Larry was born November 28, 1947, in Morrison, IL, to Harold and Wilma A. (VanDyke) Zeeryp. He was educated in the Fulton Christian Grade School and was a 1965 graduate of Fulton High School. He married Rita L. Brondyke on April 5, 1968, in Fulton. Larry was a veteran of the Illinois National Guard. He was first employed by the former Drives, Inc.,Fulton; Boonstra Heating, Fulton; the Chicago Northwestern Railroad; the Whiteside County Health Department; and Wildwood Farms, Fulton. Most recently he worked for Smith Brothers Construction of Clinton, IA, retiring in 2012. Larry was a former member of First Christian Reformed Church and First Reformed Church, both of Fulton. He was a current member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton, and he also enjoyed worshiping at the newly organized River Church, also in Clinton. Larry enjoyed day trips and sightseeing with his wife. He adored loving on his grandchildren, enjoyed fishing with his friend Dannie, and spending time with his dog Sophie. He especially enjoyed Christian Bible study and fellowship with like minded brothers in Christ. Larry liked singing, going out for breakfast with friends and family, watching westerns, hanging out with his neighbor dudes on the back deck.

Survivors include his wife, Rita; two daughters, Lori (Ed) Cole and Emily (Tim) Daley, both of Fulton; one son, Dan (Mika) Zeeryp of Camanche, IA; seven grandchildren, Tessa Anne (Alex) Telford, Gage Cole, Olivia Daley, Grace Daley, Aiden Daley, Makenna Zeeryp, and Easton Zeeryp.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Lott, Pastor at First Baptist Church, Clinton, IA, officiating.

Visitation will be 4:00–8:00 PM Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL
