She was first married to David W. Sprague, prior to 1850. At some time prior to December of 1855 and after, when her daughter Marion A. Sprague died and after the census of 1850, she came to Edgerton Wisconsin with her children. It was probably because her brother in law Orrin lived just outside of Edgerton. In 1857, she filed for divorce from David W. Sprague, who was living in New York by himself, as evidenced by summons to him in the Janesville Weekly Gazette. Between then, and 1860, she married Arnold Collins, and was living in Edgerton with him and two children, James A. and William H. Sprague. Another son, Hiram, died between 1850 and 1860. James A. died sometime after 1860, and William H. died on February 8, 1864 from disease when he was home to convalesce from the Civil War. All four children are buried in the family plot she must have purchased in Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton, WI when the first child died, because her children were the first to be buried there. Arnold Collins died in June of 1864. Between then, and the census of 1870, she married Luther Clark, much her senior. When Zadia died, she must have wanted to be buried with her children, so she was interned next to her former husband, Arnold, by her children in the Collins family plot. The plot book which was transcribed from other records post 1933 says "Zelah," but that is an obvious transcription mistake. It is Zadia.

Another daughter may be the Mary L. (Sprague) Ten Eyck buried in Saratoga County, NY. on FAG. Her daughter Mary L. Sprague was born in 1836.

Luther's burial is unknown, but probably in the Clark Family Plot in Fassett, unmarked. It appears that William Clark was his brother.

Any headstone to mark her grave is gone, or it was an unmarked grave, since all of her children and her last husband were deceased when she died.
