CHECK ALL INFORMATION FOR ACCURACY.
I am looking for any connection for a Joseph 1808 and Daniel Harker 1800.
Both moved to Muscatine Co,Iowa from NJ about 1850.

Check for accuracy;; a source says, Brothers Samuel and Daniel Harker married sisters Mary and Sally Northrup , daughters of Benjamin Northrup of Newton , Sussex Co. NJ.

Daniel is my direct line and I think Joseph may be brother, Uncle, cousin??? I cannot get a source but all fits as a family connection. I am assuming they are Brothers...

Aged: 74 Years - 9 Months - 13 Days.

Visted the grave site again . Sad to say but a lot has changed. Big pine trees are gone, and the Harker stones that were gathered around the base, many are no longer there.
The Harker burying ground stone is missing.
It was here at this site in 2005.
Samuel Harker memorial stone is now broken and tucked in back of Sarah broken stone. All will be gone soon.
Joseph and Lydia stone have been lifted and put up on its base. Most likely because it is the Harker Cemetery, that was on his farm.

The land on which the cemetery sits was deeded to the Sweetland Trustees by Joseph N. Harker and his wife, Lydia on 25th day of April 1853. The deed is filed in the Muscatine County Book of Lands 'R' on page 209.
