Funeral services for Preston Means of Sugar Land have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in Garmany & Co. Chapel in Missouri City. Burial is at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Means, 65, died Wednesday in his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Althea Means; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Usrey of Sugar Land and Mrs. Gurvis Hall of Cleveland; and one brother, John Means of Lufkin.

Memorials may be made to the building fund of the First Presbyterian Church of Sugar Land or the American Heart Association, and friends may call Garmany & Co. Funeral Home after 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
