VIRGINIA L. ROEMER, 90, of Urbana, formerly of New Haven, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Heartland of Urbana, Urbana, Ohio. Born in Wood burn, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mada Caudle. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She retired from General Electric after 35 years and was a member of General Electric Elex Club. After retirement, she went on to work at Meijer for 10 years. She is survived by her children, Sandra (Gary) Dolbey of Urbana, Ohio and Stan Roemer of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; grandchildren, Tom King and Randy (Cherie) O'Blow; and great-grandchildren, Austin and Taylor O'Blow, Katie King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Roemer, in 2008; son-in-law, Gary Dolbey; and siblings, June, Geraldine, Carl, John, and Grover. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. The Rev. Karl Frincke and Pastor J. Brown officiating. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials to Heartland of Urbana Hospice. Arrangements by E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
