Margaret Louise Sanders, 91, of Arthur died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 16, 2014) at Mason Point, rural Sullivan.
Margaret was born May 21, 1923 in Garrett, the daughter of Omar Dale and Ada Bernice Younger Alcorn. She was united in marriage to James Marvin Sanders on Feb. 19, 1966 in Champaign.
Survivors include her husband; son, Everett Dale (Connie) McElroy; daughter, Gwen (Jerry) Ray; two grandsons; one granddaughter; sister, Natica Paulina Hunt and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Alcorn.
Margaret was a graduate of Rantoul High School and attended the University of Illinois for 1 1/2 years. She was a member of the Vine Street Christian Church and also the Order of the Eastern Star.
