Services for Aggie Lee Lewis, 72, of Mercer, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at George A. Smith and Sons' Main Street chapel with the Rev. Fred Ward officiating. Burial will be in Maple Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Lewis, a farmer and retired Madison County Highway Department employee, died Sunday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a long illness.

He was born in Madison County. Mr. Lewis was a member of Mercer Baptist Church.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Maggie Phillips Lewis; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Nerren and Mrs. Marie Petty, both of Mercer; a brother, Joe Lewis of Little Rock, Ark.; four sisters, Mrs. Maggie Phillips of Whiteville, Mrs. Estelle Jones of Memphis, Mrs. Velma Burgess of Battle Creek, Mich., and Mrs. Ivy Bradley of Rolling Heights, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Richard Lewis, Cecil Lewis, Calvin Moore, Herbert Moore, Charles Phillips and David Phillips.
