Carl E. Wall, 73, of Atlanta, went to be with his Savior on November 15, 2014 at St. Michael Hospital after a brief illness. He was born November 21, 1940, in Atlanta and was the son of the late James Wiley Wall and Lora B. Fleet Wall.
He was retired from the Texas Department of Transportation, Atlanta District. Carl was a loving husband, Daddy, and Paw Paw to his family. He was a believer in the Lord and followed the Word of God until his death. He enjoyed outdoors, building projects, trips to Lowe's and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Tim Wall, Jr. and cousin Truman Bradshaw.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Rebecca "Becky" Wall of Atlanta; his daughters, Karla Raines and husband Jason of Beckville, Angie Deason and husband Robby of Karnack; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Rowdy, Kaleb, Elijah, Ceci, James; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers,Tommie Wall and wife Nell of Atlanta, Billy Wall and wife Sandra of Karnack; sister, Vickie Hamnett and husband Stan of Arizona; and a vast number of nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.
Carl also leaves behind sisters-in-law, Vicky Buzbee and husband Steve, Libby Fry and husband Dennis, Debbie Hanson, Barby Harrison, Charity Adams and husband Dale; brothers-in-law, David James and wife Sheryl, Tim James and wife Kathy, Ricky James and wife Janie, and Tony James.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Ronnie Raines and Bro. Louis Boyd officiating. Interment will be in Huffines Cemetery.
