Rockdale, Texas, April 2. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Baggett, 71, who
died in a Temple hospital, were held at the family home in Tracy by the Rev. T.
Miller Smith of the First Methodist Church. Burial was in the family plot in
Murray Cemetery. Mrs. Baggett was a member of an old Milam County family. She is
survived by two sons, Alton Baggett of Rockdale and Elmo Baggett of Abilene; a
daughter, Mrs. Cyrus Carroll of Dallas; two brothers, Bob Laird of Tulsa, Okla.,
and Jim Laird of Cameron; two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Davis of Tracy and Mrs. Louis
