Willis Clark Bonzo, Sr., 89, of Rochester, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at his residence.

Willis was born April 27, 1925 in New Sewickley Township, son of the late Howard and Edna (Humes) Bonzo.

He proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home and worked at American Bridge, Ambridge. Later he became a milling machine operator and retired from Standard Horse Nail, New Brighton.

In his leisure time, Willis enjoyed going to local auctions, mingling with people and appreciating the unique variety of items offered for auction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouses, Betty in 2001 and Lois in 2013; two daughters-in-law, Robin Bonzo and Patricia Bonzo; two brothers, Merle and Audrey Bonzo, and a sister, Hazel Gutermuth.

Willis is survived by two sons, Willis 'Bill' Bonzo, Jr., Rochester and Paul Bonzo, Homosassa Springs, FL; one daughter, Bonny Bonzo, Rochester; five grandchildren, Tabatha, Lori, Willis, Tiffany and Jennell, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Monday, November 17, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68 Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). His funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday to conclude the visitation, Pastor Art Coleman, Trinity Full Gospel Church, officiating. Private entombment will be in the Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.
