Sylvania, GA - Mrs. Susan Coleman, 81, died Saturday, May 17, 1958, in the afternoon at her residence here.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the North Newington Baptist Church of which she was a member. The Rev. James Davis and the Rev. L. M. Anderson officiated and interment was in the churchyard cemetery.
She was a native of Screven County, the daughter of the late John & Sally Brady Minors.
Survivors include her widower, D. G. Coleman of Sylvania; a son, Rufus Jenkins of Vero Beach, FL; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Mock of Miami, FL; a sister, Mrs. Susie Hodges of Port Wentworth, GA; four grandchildren and number of niece and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Willie Callerton, Joseph Hodges, Johnny Minors, Jim Minors, Robert Hodges and Lemuel Hodges. Honorary pallbearers will be John D. Williams, N. L. Scott, Johnny Morris, G. W. Sheppard, Judson Walker, Claude Hodge and Hinton Mallard.
