Harry married Ethel Moore 13 Oct 1945 in Echo Park, California. They had four sons: Sherman Dennis; Richard James; Forrest Wayne; Martin Clarke.

Harry James Cole, 76, died Monday, March 11, at Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City. He was born in Seligman April 4, 1919, to Berton and Vena Cole and lived in northern Arizona most of his life.

Mr. Cole was a retired customer service representative for APS for 24 years. He was a member of the Williams Lions Club, the Knights of Pythias, the Grand Canyon Pioneer Society, the Wickenburg Elks Lodge and the local American Legion.

Mr. Cole was active in the Williams Little League for the past 24 years as well as having served on the Williams Volunteer Fire Dept., the Williams City Council and Williams Search and Rescue. Mr. Cole was also a former Mayor of the city of Williams.

He is survived by his wife Ethel; four sons and their wives: Dennis and Elaine Cole of Sedona, Richard and Beverly Cole of Newbery Park, Calif., Forrest and Shirley Cole of Petersburg, Alaska and Martin and Peggy Cole of Prescott; and two sisters: Virginia Welker and Helen Provence of California. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He leaves behind many, many close friends in Williams and at the Hospitality RV Park in Wickenburg.

Funeral services will be held Friday at the Williams United Community Methodist Church at 11 am with interment to follow at the Williams Cemetery.
