Johnny Coker, Jr., age 69, of Cape Fair, Missouri, formerly of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 5:07 p.m. on Tuesday, November12, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born March 20, 1944, in Aurora, the son of the late John Franklin “Frank” and Ella Mae “Pete” (Shoemaker) Coker.
Johnny attended Aurora High School and grew up in the Aurora community. He worked for Shade Tree as a tree trimmer, for the Chromalloy Furniture Manufacturing Company and H. Epps Construction and was a member of the Woodland Hills Family Church. Johnny loved to spend time with his family and going fishing.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by
his family & friends.
