Mrs. Minnie E Gourlay, 59 years old, widow of Samuel Gourlay, died suddenly yesterday at the home of Mrs. William Fairbrother, 183 Washington St., Flushing. Death was due to apoplexy. Mrs Gourlay having been stricken soon after she left her bedroom. she was born in Flushing and had lived there all her life. For twenty years she had been a member of Flushing Circle Companions of the Forest of America. She is survived by one son, Samuel, of Bayside, and two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Atkinson, of Flushing, and Mrs. Harry Stout, of Jersey City. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of Samuel Gourlay at 3 Higgins Ave., Bayside, by the Rev. William C. Cravner, of St. George's Episcopal Church at 3 o'clock tomorrow night, and burial will take place Thursday morning in Flushing Cemetery.
