Clarence "Bud" Levi Tipton, age 95, went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by his family. Bud was born on September 25, 1922, to his parents Jesse and Minnie (Scott) Tipton in Comanche, OK.

He was a member of Lawnwood Freewill Baptist Church. Bud founded and ran Tipton Plumbing for 35 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family dearly.

He is preceded in passing by his sons Mike Tipton and Gary Tipton.

Bud is survived by his wife of 73 years, his three daughters and their husbands; his son Rick and wife; his sister; his eleven grandchildren, ninteen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, OK. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 24, 2018, from 9 am to 10 am with Funeral Service to follow starting at 10 am, all at Lawnwood Free Will Baptist Church, 4115 W Edison, Tulsa, OK. Bud will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park of Sand Springs, OK.
