Glenda Marie McEwen, 75, of Highland, Ill., born Aug. 1, 1939, in Sesser, Ill., passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at St. Mary's Health Center in Clayton, Mo. Glenda attended church at St. Jacob United Church of Christ. She retired from Collinsville Unit 10 School District, was a member of Red Hat Ladies, "FRIENDS" and Grow. She loved her grandchildren more than life and enjoyed the time she spent with them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McEwen; parents, William Riley Taylor and Leona, nee Mason, Taylor Presley; and sister, Darlene McEwen.Surviving are her daughters, Donna (John) Lowe of Highland, Ill., and Mary Beth McEwen of Collinsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Bobby (Tricia) Wondolowski II of Freeberg, Ill., Zack Lowe of Glen Carbon, Ill., and Micah Lowe of Highland, Ill.; great-grandchild, Bobby Wondolowski III; son-in-law, Bobby Wondolowski Sr.; and brother, Greg (Anna) Presley of West Frankfort, Ill.Memorials may be made to COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd., Miami, Fla. 33134 and will be accepted at the funeral home and church.
