BORGER - G. Doyle Forrester Sr., 84 died Thursday, June 22, 2000.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bunavista Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Forrester was born in the Chapel Hill community near Clinton, Okla. He had been a resident of Borger since 1942. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. as a shift superintendent. He was a member of Bunavista Baptist Church.
Mr. Forrester was preceded in death by his wife, Clema Bernice Forrester, in 1997; and by a daughter, Carolyn Sue Lemons, in 1980.
Survivors include a son, George Forrester of Borger; a daughter, Marilyn Edwards of Ardmore, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
