BAVER, Donald W. Sr. age 97, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary, and son Donald Jr. He is survived by his son, Jeff (Cindy); daughter-in-law, Brenda; grandchildren: Maryann, Angela Joy, Brittany Mary, Douglas Donald, and Brett Conrad; and great-grandchildren: Ciara Briann and Dixie Leigh.
Donald served in the US Air Force for 29 years and was a WWII Veteran. Donald retired from NCR after 34 years; He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and sang in the choir. He was also a member of the American Legion Lodge # 598.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 470 S. Gebhart Church Rd, Miamisburg, OH, on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 1:00pm with Pastor Tina Scheuller officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 12:00pm until the time of services.
Burial will follow at David Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 470 S. Gebhart Church Rd, Miamisburg, OH 45342 in memory of Donald. Arrangements under the direction of Tobias Funeral Home, Dayton, OH.
