Alla had history of heart attacks, took daily medicine; admitted September 21 & Massive attack early AM. She was admitted to Parkview Hospital on Sept 21 with chest pain. She greeted the nurses in AM and not being allowed out of bed, asked for bedpan Once on bedpan she suffered a massive heart attack. Code Blue and prompt but lengthy attention by the staff were unsuccessful in reviving her.
Autopsy showed 3 recent heart attacks, which family could remember specific dates to correspond with this info. Autopsy also showed arteriosclerosis.
Alla Mae went out back door with a basket of clothing to hang on the clothesline.
She did not see the child's wagon left at bottom on steps and fell over wagon, causing early labor and death of her only girl.
Alla & Blake never attended a church wedding or funeral or any activity in a church building, which included weddings of their own children. Blake felt that to attend one after not atending a prior one would show preference so he refused to attend any.
