She was the sister of Harry I Means.

MISS ETHEL MEANS, resident of Acton and home economics teacher in the Franklin Township High School several years, will be buried tomorrow in Pleasant View Cemetery following funeral services at 2 PM in the Acton Methodist Church. She died Friday.

Miss Means was a daughter of Mr and Mrs John T Means of Acton and had been a resident of that community most of her life.

She had been a member of the Acton Methodist Church since childhood. She was graduated from Central Normal College and later received her A B degree at Indiana University. Recently she had completed post graduate work in vocational guidance at Ball State Teachers College. She was active in 4-H Club work in the county schools. Prior to her teaching position in the Franklin Township School, Miss Means taught at Modoc.

She is survived by her parents; a sister, Mrs Frank Blass; a nephew, Marion Blass; five nieces, Mrs Stella Williams of Indianapolis, Mrs Louise Fiick of Los Angeres, California; Mrs Edward Harvey, Mrs Leo Baldwin, and Miss Bettie Holton of Jackson, Michigan.
