Bushnell, IL - Luscion D. Reed, 69, of 821 S. Ward St., Macomb, formerly of Bushnell, died at 8:16 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1998, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Born April 3, 1929, in Smithfield to Chester Logan Reed and Flora Belle Lasswell Reed, he married Gwen J. Orwig on Feb. 9, 1957, in Bushnell. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David and John, both of Macomb; one grandson; and two step granddaughters.
An employee of International Harvester in Canton for 25 years, he retired in 1983. A Korean War Army veteran, he was a member of Bushnell Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1422.
Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery near Ellisville, with military honors accorded by his VFW post.
