Little Nelson, had he lived until August next, would have been 6 years old. He was the second of three children, a remarkably bright and intelligent lad, and was fairly idolized by his parents. The funeral services were held at the family residence at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. Duncan of the Christian Church conducting the services. The friends of the family filled the house and many remained outside. After listening to the reverend gentleman's eloquent words, the procession was formed and the funeral cortege wended its way to the cemetery, where the body was laid to rest. To the grief stricken parents, the Bazoo, in common with all the people of Sedalia, tenders sincere sympathy in this, their trying hour."
