Born April 29, 1921 in Franklin County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Bonner T. and Minnie Randall McClain.
She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and was retired from the Citizens Bank.
She preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Addington; brothers, Gladstone, Myron, Fred, and Randall McClain; and a sister, Flossie Burgess.
Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Marlene Addington; daughters, Barbara Rogers and Beverly Miller; grandchildren, Mike and Angie Addington, Kirk and Jill Rogers, Bryan and Traci Rogers, Lisa and David Newton, Missy and Duane Vigue, and Angie and Rob St. Jean; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Voyles; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Cynthia McClain
